The multispectral wavelengths of SpectraCOLOR are specifically designed to avoid color-crossover between the cyan-magenta-yellow dyes in color film from transmitting to the a red-green-blue Bayer filter array (or similar) in digital sensors, and eliminate any contamination from harmful blue-violet (<440nm) and infrared (>660nm) frequencies. Unlike RGB LED’s, which emit an aqua-cyan band instead of true green, SpectraCOLOR light efficiently emits within the notorious LED “green gap” (530-570nm) – where conventional LEDs fail – to cover the peak sensitivities (455, 545, 635nm) essential for accurately recording color film information with a digital camera.
