The two clear “Light Collimating” sheets feature a protective film on BOTH sides of BOTH sheets that must be removed before use. Always place these collimating sheets on top of the “Color Negative Calibration” sheet (light blue color) when scanning. The “Color Negative Calibration” sheet does not have a protective film that must be removed and is ready to use when placed beneath the clear “Light Collimating” sheets.
